These characters I made for a character animation workshop.
I was asked to create a couple of running characters and a couple of backgrounds for an animation workshop during Keilefest — an art event in Rotterdam. The idea of the workshop was to ask the visitors to draw a monster and then make their monsters chase these characters through different backgrounds.
The main purpose of this animation was to entertain people, involve them into storytelling and explain the animation process in an engaging way by using their own drawings.
