Theo van Leur Architectuur Presentaties is a Dutch architecture visualization company that creates a range of photo-realistic and artistic visual materials for their clients.
I was asked to make the company's work process infographics. The intention was to use it in communication with first-time clients. The company's process of creating visualizations includes many steps, so my task was to introduce it as clearly as possible and avoid over-saturating it with irrelevant details. I concentrated on making a sharp composition, short texts, and informative drawings.
During the company-client communication, information usually moves in a wave line, bouncing from the company to the client and back. So I have arranged the composition accordingly. I have also marked so-called “points of no return”: the moments when final decisions have to be made to close one stage of a project and move on to the next.
I have styled the icons both similar to (in perspective) and different from (in style) the company's final product to separate the process from the result, thus focusing on the process but keeping the result in mind. And I have used the company colors to make my infographics fit its house-style.
